About Me
I am a BSN candidate at Villanova University’s M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing, with an expected graduation date of August 2026. My professional focus is acute care and emergency nursing.
I currently work as an Emergency Department Technician with Main Line Health, where I support timely evaluation and treatment of patients with emergent needs. My role includes vital signs, Accu-Cheks, phlebotomy, IV insertions, EKGs, and nursing assistant responsibilities. This experience has strengthened my interest in emergency nursing, clinical prioritization, patient communication, and team-based care.
Before entering nursing, I developed a strong research and systems-thinking background through graduate education and doctoral-level work in biological and agricultural systems engineering. This background continues to shape how I approach nursing practice: with curiosity, evidence-based reasoning, attention to process improvement, and a commitment to safe patient care.
My goal is to grow as a nurse in a high-acuity clinical environment where I can combine hands-on patient care, emergency department experience, research literacy, and compassionate communication.
